- According to the Supra V32bis modem documentation, there ARE different
- requirements for pulse ratio and speed around the world. In the US you
- apparently use 10pps and a 39/61 make to break ratio. In the UK it says
- we use 10pps and a 33/67 make to break ratio. It is Japan that uses
- 20pps and 33/67 (this countries are from memory, as the actual manual is
- at home and all I have is the reference card, which just has the data,
- not which countries require which....). In the new Supras you set this
- with &Pn ,where is n is 0,1,or 2 respectively. I've not tried pulse
- dial, as now most of the UK switches accept tone dial which is much
- faster!
