- We've had a problem with the ingres terminal monitor under sunOS
- 4.1.2 where it does not seem to be responding to terminal interrupts.
- I traced it to the setsid commands in all of the front end scripts
- for the various ingres programs (ie setsid -b ~ingres/tm -qquel).
- Things seems to work if i run tm by hand.
-
- I was wondering if there was actually a reason that those setsid's
- were there -- do they do anything useful, or can I just remove
- them?
-
- Thanks
