  10. Many thanks to those who responded to my query on upgrading from 
  11. Version 1.10 to 4.0.  At least now I know what questions to ask before 
  12. I fall headlong into the "land of the lost"...
  13.   
  14. I started learning Informix about 2 years ago with nothing more than 
  15. the distribution manuals and 1/2 million lines of spaghetti code that 
  16. had been mangled previously by 4  programmers.  I've pretty 
  17. much exhausted the info I can glean from the manuals (they COULD have 
  18. better examples), but I know that FAR more can be accomplished.
  19. I've already done things that my predecessors said were impossible.
  20.   
  21. Are there any GOOD books available on Informix?
  22. Some that I can live with, chew on, and learn from?  My company can't 
  23. afford to send me to training classes, so I fill my library very 
  24. carefully.

  26. Your recommendations (and warnings) are appreciated...
