  10. Well, the question is actually not quite *that* broad, perhaps a more
  11. appropriate version would be "What is decision support to you ?" or
  12. "How is/will decision support be used in your organization ?"
  13.  
  14. In particular, I am interested in:

  16. -- data volumes, sources and refresh/stability metrics 
  17.  
  18. -- typical DS machine configurations (size, isolation, workload)
  19.  
  20. -- query mix and composition (aggregations, joins, bulk retreivals)
  21.  
  22. -- perceived DBMS stress points in DS (utilities, SQL, tuning)
  23.  
  24. -- anticipated growth or modification over the next 6, 12, 18 months
  25.  
  26. -- usage patterns of DS utilities or their output (who, why, how, how often)
