- Hi out there.
- I am currently working on an mpeg decoder and am coming across the
- inevitable snags. I was wondering whether or not there are a lot of
- other people doing this kind of work (i.e. mpeg decoders) and if
- there was any interest in starting comp.compression.mpeg or perhaps
- an e-mail list so that we could share our problems, sources, and
- solutions.
-
- Also, although the XING mpeg files have been helpful, are there any
- sources of data that more strictly adheres to the standard?
-
- Finally, does anyone have any suggestions on efficient methods of
- choosing an RGB colorspace that will facilitate conversion from
- the compressed YCrCb data? Or even the proper matrix to use for
- straight MPEG YCrCb -> RGB conversion?
-
- Thanks in advance.
