- I have also had the same problem. However, not with a DALLAS Fax 14.4k modem.

- When in Unattended mode, when a caller calls, ring will report on the status
- window, but Binkley never answers. After the number of rings in Binkley.CFG
- has been reached, then it hangs up and goes back to waiting. This was with
- version 2.50. WIth 2.56Beta, it is the same way. Also, what has happened to
- BTCTL.EXE in the packages? The Beta version I understand is not complete per
- the documents. I don't see the BTCTL program. I understand and in the past,
- have used it to make the necessary files binkley needs, i.e., (MAIL.SYS).

- Obviously your modem init strings has the command "V1" as Binkley is reporting
- ring versus a numeric response. What about the S0 register? Is it set to
- S0=0 to allow the software to answer vs the modem? Yea, I know what you must
- be going through, I am going the same rough road...
