  27. I have also had the same problem.  However, not with a DALLAS Fax 14.4k modem.

  29. When in Unattended mode, when a caller calls, ring will report on the status
  30. window, but Binkley never answers.  After the number of rings in Binkley.CFG
  31. has been reached, then it hangs up and goes back to waiting.  This was with
  32. version 2.50.  WIth 2.56Beta, it is the same way.  Also, what has happened to
  33. BTCTL.EXE in the packages?  The Beta version I understand is not complete per
  34. the documents.  I don't see the BTCTL program.  I understand and in the past,
  35. have used it to make the necessary files binkley needs, i.e., (MAIL.SYS).

  37. Obviously your modem init strings has the command "V1" as Binkley is reporting
  38. ring versus a numeric response.  What about the S0 register?  Is it set to
  39. S0=0 to allow the software to answer vs the modem?  Yea, I know what you must
  40. be going through, I am going the same rough road...
