- If I'm reading your message correctly, you want a copy of the nodelist,
- so you can join Fidonet and request a node number.

- To do this, even *with* a nodelist is going to require working with
- you *local* net. *They* are the folks who will be assigning your node
- number. So I'd suggest that you start calling the local *Fidonet*
- systems. One of them will be able to provide you with a nodelist.
- They'll also be able to provide you with a copy of your net's
- Policy.

- To get a node number, you have to have read and agreed to the
- Current policies of Fidonet *and* of your local net.

- I keep emphasizing *local*, because unlike Usenet, Fidonet is
- organized *geographically*. Your net is determined by where you
- are.
