- On Friday, August 7th, Apple Computer lost its "look and feel"
- lawsuit against Microsoft. The judge rejected the basic concept of
- a "look and feel" test for software copyright infringement and made
- many other important rulings which were good news for our freedom to
- write software.
-
- As far as I can tell, funding Apple no longer seriously
- jeopardizes my basic freedoms. Therefore, assuming that Apple does
- not appeal, I will begin scanning the Apple newsgroups and forwarding
- the Apple postings to comp.archives.
