  13.     On Friday, August 7th, Apple Computer lost its "look and feel"
  14. lawsuit against Microsoft.  The judge rejected the basic concept of
  15. a "look and feel" test for software copyright infringement and made
  16. many other important rulings which were good news for our freedom to
  17. write software.

  19.     As far as I can tell, funding Apple no longer seriously
  20. jeopardizes my basic freedoms.  Therefore, assuming that Apple does
  21. not appeal, I will begin scanning the Apple newsgroups and forwarding
  22. the Apple postings to comp.archives.
