  19. Nic.funet.fi is a mirror site for the Simtel MSDOS archives. We get lists
  20. of the new software that has been uploaded each month. I have usually 
  21. forwarded it on to Bio-soft since there might be some programmes of interest.
  22. A lot of people have been thankful for these posts, and a few have said they
  23. can read them elsewhere and they do not like the crossposting.
  24.  
  25. I would like to know how you feel about these postings are they worthwhile
  26. or should I refrain from posting if you already get the information elsewhere.

  179. OAK.Oakland.Edu is the most up-to-date mirror because I maintain it,
  180. in addition to my duties at SIMTEL20.  I run OAK's mirror program
  181. whenever new files are added at SIMTEL20.

  183. If you cannot access them via FTP or e-mail, most SIMTEL20 MSDOS
  184. files, including the PC-Blue collection, are also available for
  185. downloading from Detroit Download Central (313) 885-3956.  DDC
  186. has multiple lines which support 300/1200/2400/9600/14400 bps
  187. (103/212/V22bis/HST/V32bis/V42bis/MNP).  This is a subscription system
  188. with an average hourly cost of 17 cents.  It is also accessable on
  189. Telenet via PC Pursuit and on Tymnet via StarLink outdial.  New files
  190. uploaded to SIMTEL20 are usually available on DDC within 24 hours.

  193. the SIMTEL20 MS-DOS collection in CD-ROM format bundled with library
  194. card-catalog type access and duplication software can contact Coyote
