- A postscript IRC introductory paper and manual has been available for a few
- weeks now on some famous IRC ftp sites (nic.funet.fi, csd.bu.edu,
- ftp.ucsu.buffalo.edu, coombs.anu.edu.au ...)
- The file is called 'IRCprimer.ps.Z' and is about 300 Kb.
- You can 'uncompress' it and print it on a postscript printer or use
- a previewer (ghostview, psview...)
-
- For instance, on unix systems you can type "zcat IRCprimer.ps.Z | lpr"
- to print it, or with ftp if you don't want to keep a copy, in binary
- transfer mode just type...
- ftp> get IRCprimer.ps.Z "|zcat|lpr"
-
- Unfortunately, I won't be able to release an ascii version or the LaTeX
- code until october :( (and I'm on holidays too *smile*)
-
- Enjoy for the 2 cents it's worth, but DON'T flood my mailbox please !
- Also, could someone correct the list of ftp site above and post some
- nice advertisement on alt.irc ? (we don't get that fabulous newsgroup
- at school :)
-
- Happy holidays ...
