- Yes, V25 has finally been made public and is available for ftp or ftpmail
- or whatever from /pub/Nihongo on monu6.cc.monash.edu.au. If you don't
- know what edict is: it is a public domain Japanese/English dictionary file.
- Get the "edict.doc" file and read about it.
-
- As before, EDICT is available as three files: edict (plain text),
- edict.zoo (has the edict.jdx index file included for JDIC/JREADER users)
- and edict.Z.
-
- The "jis1detl.lst" and "jis2detl.lst" files on monu6 have been withdrawn
- and replaced with a single file "kanjidic" (and kanjidic.Z).
