  22.     Like many of you I used to read every single article in
  23. this newsgroup but now find that impossible as well as no longer
  24. being desirable. Now there are only a few articles a day that 
  25. I really want to read. If you get dead-flames as a digest you may
  26. be interested in this.

  28. The "Reeves Digest Browser" is a hypercard stack which makes it
  29. easy to navigate through digests. It is for use with Macintosh
  30. computers. It is called the "Reeves Digest Browser" to
  31. distinguish it from other Digest Browsers which are around. I've
  32. tried using some but decided that I ought to write my own.
  33. It reads text digests into hypercard putting contents information
  34. into a contents window and each message into its own message
  35. window. It should work on any digest but has been tested only
  36. on the homebrew and grateful dead digests.

  38. You can import single digests or multiple digests. Once that's
  39. done, messages can be shown by clicking on the contents window,
  40. choosing "read messages", clicking "next" or "previous" message
  41. buttons, or choosing the message number. Messages can also
  42. be edited and/or exported to their own files. Complete help is
  43. available for all buttons and fields by option-clicking on the
  44. button or field you want to know about. This stack is offered
  45. as shareware.
