- I am just entering my final year at uni and am doing a project somewhere
- (???##!!) in the field of Computer Architecture.
-
- I would be very grateful to get the addresses of some FTP sights containing
- as much detail as possible regarding the pipelines of common RISC architectures/
- their implementations.
-
- For example: MIPs R3/4/6000, i860, Sparc architecture, M88x00, Alpha, etc.
-
- I know of some of the companies, which have designed these chips/
- architectures, will be loath to `give anything away' regarding low-level
- design decisions. But postscript copies of manuals which describe even some
- basics, such as how many pipestages these processors have, would
- be helpful!
-
- Email straight to me!
