  9. I have been considering a hardware project for digital audio (home/hobby),
  10. I am technically competent with basic u/Processor systems design, What I
  11. am interested in is maybe using a DSP processor, I believe many computers
  12. with music/sound processing capabilities are using the DSP56001,

  14. What are the capabilities of DSP processors,

  16. What advantages/disadvantages to they have over microprocessors?

  18. Could someone give a brief technical summary of the DSP56001
  19.  
  20. Any ideas for real cool hardware for sound processing.
