- Earlier I posted a query which asked for references to any
- publications relating to the analysis of speech input. I have
- not received any replies -- is there pollitical reasons <grin> --
- but I have done some asking around and have found out the following:
-
- 'Speech Communication: Man and Machine by O'Shaughnessy (Addison Wesley
- 1987) contains research which led to Bell Northern Research producing an
- algorithm called the Asymetric Time Warp algorithm. This algorithm
- supposedly produces an eigthy byte value given a digitized spoken word
- which will uniquely identify the speaker of that word.
-
- My information is not yet complete but it is a start. If anyone has
- more information for me, I would very much like to know. I am persuing
- a research project which involves the use of algorithms of this type.
