- Tamara,
-
- Do you also have experience with using DEC's LN03 laser printers
- (non-postscript versions) and the FORMCHAR options?
-
- If the answer is yes, than can you post to SAS-L some examples for
- both the DEC and the HP laser printers?
-
- I'd have called you on phone but the gov I work for frowns on long
- distance voice calls - but internet is just dandy...go figure.
-
- Also, on a related issue - any experience/examples using the LN03's
- DECVEC features? This technique holds promise for us for a current
- application - any help in this area would be much appreciated.
-
- DECVEC refers to vector drawing of vert and horz lines without
- modifying the active printing position - therefore, you could use
- statements that would 'draw' the form and then fill it in.
-
- Syntax (from manuals) is ESC [ Pn1 ; Pn2 ; Pn3 ; Pn4 ; Pn5 ! |
- where
- Pn1 = Draw line, 0 = Horz, 1 = Vert
- Pn2 = Select X axis start position
- Pn3 = Select Y axis start position
- Pn4 = Line length in pixels
- Pn5 = Line width in pixels
-
- Thanks very much.
