- Does anyone have any experience in working with transferring data from
- a SAS dataset to a lotus or Excel file? I know that there was a
- meeting of the BASAS last spring that dealt with what I think is the
- same topic. If anyone has worked with this or perhaps Claire is
- listening, please let me know...
-
- Thanks in advance...

- Interesting that you should bring this up just now. I was deeply
- involved in testing a new installation here that uses the DDE interface
- in OS/2 2.0 to do just that. Without any file conversion or intermediate
- trickery the DDE facility allows SAS under OS/2 to write and read data
- and drive EXCEL with commands. There is a set of examples in the
- BASE\SAMPLES directory called DDE1.SAS through DDE6.SAS. I think you'll
- find them informative.
