  11. I'm using an IBM PS2/70 16Mhz to run my DOS version of SAS.  For my
  12.    files (roughly 2.5-6.0 MEGS), my machine is too slow.  I've been talking
  13. with PC vendors about their 486 50Mhz machines.  Now someone has suggested
  14. I purchase an IBM RISC6000 and run my DOS version of SAS in its DOS
  15. window.  This will supposedly be a faster way to run SAS than on a 486
  16. 50Mhz machine.  Like most other colleges, we're broke. I can't purchase
  17. another version of SAS.  The one I've got is from our university site
  18. license and only the DOS version is available.
  19. If anyone has experience running SAS under the RISC6000 machine's
  20. DOS window, I'd like to hear about it.
