- Perhaps if the person is primarily manic, then the stimulants would
- work in opposition to the effect of the lithium. I can not imagine
- what would be the reason if the person is primarily depressive. Maybe
- in this second case, the individuals physiological condition may
- complicate the effect of the lithium in conjuction with caffeine.
- Do you mean caffeine whan you say stimulants? Maybe he is not supposed
- to ingest caffeine and was not prescribed a stimulant.
