- 1. PL/I can read/write/manipulate ANY data structure.
- 2. PL/I already exists on your system. (That's $Y$TEM for you bean counters)
- 3. PL/I can generate machine efficient optimized code.
- 4. PL/I is easily ported to other systems.
- 5. You don't have to be a Wizard or a Guru to write good PL/I code.
- (You can be a simple Sorcerer or maybe a Genie!)
