I have been keeping a so-called "screen-snapshot" file created
whenever a hit a hot-key in Pro-Comm, my comm package, and each
screen gets appended to a file named pcplus.scr.  Something
weird has happened: when i call it up --both in NB and in
the DOS 5 editor, BTW--the file ends abruptly; the memory
count given by NB is 64K, which perhaps is significant.

However, the file by now is _much_ bigger (I've been kind of
appending and forgetting about it for over a year, but now
I need to collate the stuff), and all the data
is there, because it is viewable in buerg's LIST utility,
and I have gone so far as to do a hex mode thingie on it
to see if there was a rogue end-of-file marker just where
NB stops display. I didn't see anything that looks like it, but in any
event, this is approaching the outer-limits of my knowledge
of such things.  I dont even know how to clip the file up,
and even _get_ at the data, and do anything besides
cast baleful looks at it by shelling out to DOS.

Any advice?
