- NB 4 *does* support proportional fonts, and unless I am
- mistaken, so does NB 3. The difference is that NB 4
- an unlimited range of sizes--everything from 4 point to
- 256 point--whereas NB 3 allows only predetermined sizes--
- 10, 12, 14, 18 pt., etc. Of course, you have to have a
- printer capable of printing propotional fonts. For this
- reason, I would strongly recommend the Hewlett Packard
- IIIP. It prints beautifully and at a reasonable speed, and
- HP offers educational discounts. I bought mine a year ago
- for $950; it's probably available for something less than
- that now given Hewlett Packard's agressive pricing.

- On Monday, NB Informatics told me that NB 4 was shipping
- that very day. Has anyone yet received the program?
