  14. A few hours ago I've posted an inquiry on notabene, reporting a problem  in
  15. running notabene. The problem was indicated by an announcement of an overflow
  16. failure. As a result, the screen froze and the file under procession was left
  17. empty. This problem returned quite a few times.
  18. I believe that I've managed to identify the source of the problem. I've
  19. upgraded my combi drive from ver. 0.30 to version 100.  My reference to
  20. combi in the config.sys used to be :
  21. devicehigh=c:\combi\combi.sys 1450
  22. With the new version, I changed it to:
  23. devicehigh=c:\combi\combi.sys 1450 /c b
  24.  
  25. I've downloaded the former combi version and since then encountered no problems.
  26. I'm sending a copy of this note to Vadim V. Vlasov, the author of combi.
  27. Hopefully, he would be in a position to suggest a solution.
