- To switch from xywrite to NB is dirt easy--up until next week or so,
- we're told when NB4 comes out, the only "new" keys are for help and
- define, as first-level access; much of the extended keyboard mappings
- are much more logical as well. NB also prepares beforehand much of the
- complexities of formatting for footnotes, and other complex documents
- (not to speak of its bibliographic manager), which is conceivably
- possible in XyWrite, but when I last used it (perhaps theyve come out
- w/ new versions--a la carte rings a bell), were enormously difficult
- to keep track of and write yourself.
-
- BTW, loved your earlier stuff, up till _Space Cowboy_.
