My wife assures me (and I think she's right) that I am becoming impossible to
live with as I grumpily await NB4. She has even threatened a suit against NBI
on grounds of alienation of affection. I think my kids are more interested in
the arrival of NB4 than I am---for their own sake. So let me turn to beer and
cider. Last year I was in Copenhagen and of course downed some Tuborg, which I
love. I learned that Budweiser (the American stuff) has a contract in Denmark:
they sell Bud in Denmark and Tuborg in the States. What Dane would drink Bud?
Now to cider, my work takes me frequently to London. The Pub, what an
institution (I neglect the food poisoning I got at a Pub in Hampton Court!) But
I also love cider which we can't get in this country. I live in the midst of
the US's best apple country and we don't have cider! Why? Also my English
friends warn me about the dangers of local village cider in England.  He said
there are several deaths a year from the stuff. I've always been interested in
that toxicology. Why should it be so potent?
        Well back to pacing the floor for the UPS truck and yelling at the
kids.
