- My wife assures me (and I think she's right) that I am becoming impossible to
- live with as I grumpily await NB4. She has even threatened a suit against NBI
- on grounds of alienation of affection. I think my kids are more interested in
- the arrival of NB4 than I am---for their own sake. So let me turn to beer and
- cider. Last year I was in Copenhagen and of course downed some Tuborg, which I
- love. I learned that Budweiser (the American stuff) has a contract in Denmark:
- they sell Bud in Denmark and Tuborg in the States. What Dane would drink Bud?
- Now to cider, my work takes me frequently to London. The Pub, what an
- institution (I neglect the food poisoning I got at a Pub in Hampton Court!) But
- I also love cider which we can't get in this country. I live in the midst of
- the US's best apple country and we don't have cider! Why? Also my English
- friends warn me about the dangers of local village cider in England. He said
- there are several deaths a year from the stuff. I've always been interested in
- that toxicology. Why should it be so potent?
- Well back to pacing the floor for the UPS truck and yelling at the
- kids.
