- I can easily and wholeheartedly appreciate the frustration expressed here about
- the delayed shipping of NB 4. I have heard that it is however being shipped as
- we write and shipping will be completed by next Friday. Mine is a "love hate
- relationship" with NBI: I have a project with a publisher which required
- Lingua and was supposed to be completed this summer. Since I teach undergrads,
- as soon as they arrive in three weeks all work must go on hold until Christmas.
- So for the last month I have literally been pacing the floor, cleaning my
- office, rearranging the basement, etc. Yes, I'm very angry. I suspect this is
- probably true of all software but I'm especially hooked on Notabene so have
- limited experience. I had the campus poised to go to NB years back while we as
- a campus awaited NB 2 which was also at least a year late. As a result we now
- have 200 WordPerfect users and one NB user (me). Unfortunately, there is no
- where else to turn. Nothing else out there does what I need as Lingua can. So
- I'm furious, frustrated, but powerless....I need them to succeed for my sake.
- In the meantime I have wasted a month.
