  12. This notabene list thing is damn nice, thanks to the
  13. people on it.

  15. You'd never think that getting a pro-font cartridge in hpl laser to
  16. cough up a few diacriticals in Times Roman would be so hard.

  18. They print fine in Courier.  I could sneak in a call to that font
  19. for the em-dash (the recent letters on this list made me envious
  20. of such a nicety), but for the proportional Times Roman, no dice.
  21. I have been advised, after sweating with the thing for many hours,
  22. and comparing the truly bizarre relationships of a screen version,
  23. a printd file printed to disk, and hard-copy, to cool my jets and
  24. simply wait for Lingua, whose soft fonts even in English will take
  25. care of these things, and I can pitch the cartridge (no pun intended).

  28. I'll have a _real_ emergency, and it's nice to know so much
