  14. If you have set NOTABENE to 'nomail', or have not been
  15. receiving mail from NOTABENE for some time, you can always
  16. order the relevant backlog(s) from our listserver. The logs
  17. are normally kept for a year or two (NOTABENE has been there
  18. since 1988). There is absolutely no need to ask for favours
  19. from any of us.

  21. In addition, it takes a few seconds to send a query to the listserver
  22. using LDBASE. All you have to do is keep a simple template
  23. on your disk, open a letter to the relevant listserv (ours is
  24. listserv@taunivm, or @vm.tau.ac.il), fill in the keywords for
  25. search, and send the letter.

  43. make a file of it on your disk ('move' on most VM machines),
  44. then you can call it into your mail file any time (the command
  45. on most VM machines is GET filename).
