- Alan Needell clearly does not live rurally, or perhaps there's
- something mssing from US fauna. Here, to the fox in my orchard, if it
- looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and flies
- like a duck, it's lunch. My blackbird does not; it manages to perch in
- the apple trees!
-
- Reminds me of the story my brother told me. He was in the Nairobi
- National Park recently and came across a herd of Cape Buffalo - more
- dangerous than which there is not. They were grimly regarding two
- rather doleful lions up a tree. The point of the story is that lions
- don't climb trees.... normally....
-
- But I'm grateful for the info about en/em dashes. The trouble is they
- look grotty on a dot-matrix; I hope that there is an improvement on
- bubblejet printers.
