- I have a machine whose filesystem is sloghtly munged. It says it
- cannot mount /.
-
- I am not sure how to fix this, so I would like to netboot the
- machine, mount the HD, and replace the /private directory with one
- from a healthy machine.
-
- Unfortunately, it seems that I cannot set the machine to net boot
- unless I can get it in Netmanager. Since netmanager can't see the
- sick machine, this won't work. When I try to net boot, it almost
- works, but says : whoamI: no domain name (or something like that)
-
- Is there any way to set this machine's domain and/or get it to
- netboot without using NetManager?
