- The University of Oregon Library is looking
- at the possibility of using focus groups as
- a means of gathering user feedback on services.
- Although we do not have a clear cut plan as yet,
- the idea is to make the focus group process
- a reqular part of program evaluation. We would
- be very interested in hearing from libraries that
- have experimented with focus group interviews.
- For what purposes were they used? Are they used
- routinely? Have they provided you with useful
- information from various clientele groups?
- It's possible that focus groups might be
- more widely used in public libraries, but
- I am particularly interested in academic libraries
- and their use of FG's as a marketing/evaluation
- technique.
