  16. Reference and Bibliographic Instruction Librarian.  Franklin & Marshall
  17. College is looking for an energetic and creative librarian  to coordinate
  18. the library's bibliographic instruction program.  This is a full-time
  19. position, reporting to the Associate Librarian for Reference and
  20. Instruction,  that presents a challenging opportunity for someone
  21. interested in using technology to teach information retrieval skills to
  22. highly motivated under-graduates.  In addition to  coordinating the
  23. bibliographic instruction program, job expectations include regularly
  24. scheduled assignments at the reference desk (including one evening a week
  25. and some weekend duty), online database searching, and oversight of the
  26. library's microcomputers.

  28. Qualifications include an ALA/MLS, a second Master's Degree in the
  29. humanities, bibliographic instruction experience in an academic library,
  30. and good  interpersonal and communication skills.   Familiarity with
  31. microcomputer applications and knowledge of a foreign language are highly
  32. desirable.  The libraries of Franklin & Marshall contain over 340,000
  33. volumes, are a selective depository for U.S. documents, and are automated
  34. using the DRA ATLAS system.  Salary in the mid to high $20s, commensurate
  35. with education and experience.
