  13. The BOOKMANAGER "books" are in a standard format, that can be transfered from
  14. MVS to PC to VM to CD-ROM without any conversion.

  16. For instance, when I installed SMP/E V1.6, it came with BOOKMANAGER
  17. documentation. We downloaded the appropriate files to a PC, using IRMA's FT/TSO
  18. in binary (read dont translate to ASCII) transfer format. BOOKMANAGER on the
  19. PC read it just as easily as reading the CD-ROM CICS documentation we have.
