- We are migrating to VTAM 3.3 (9202) from VTAM 3.2 under VM/XA 2.1.
- ON VTAM Initialization we receive:
-
- IST001I VTAM START REJECTED - UNABLE TO ALLOCATE STORAGE
- **ERROR** VTAM initialization failed
-
- We are running with 14M and I've tried 16M with no help.
- This morning I tried setting CSALIMIT=0 - also no help.
- We tried running the Storage Analysis diskette, but it seems to have
- a bug :-(
-
- We run another VM/XA system as a roof for MVS/ESA with a VTAM which
- does very little and there the conversion to VTAM 3.3 went smoothly
- with no hint of this problem.
-
- Any ideas? Thanks.
