-
- Lolita, we use Excel to arrange faculty schedules, course
- offerings, and other information related to course
- scheduling. We simply enter the data in rows and columns.
-
- The University course scheduling, with which we must
- coordinate our offerings, is kept on the administrating
- mainframe (an IBM). The students register for classes by
- phone, and we download that information at several points in
- the registration process.
-
- I couldn't tell from your question whether you were
- concerned about how we handled things in our department or
- whether you were concerned with how the university managed
- course scheduling for 700+ faculty and 22,000+ students.
