- Well, our CSLG manager has asked me to generate a CSLG report (nice form
- of management -- ask somebody else to do your work!), and I have a couple
- of questions on how to count systems --
-
- 1. We have a homogeneous cluster of two 8800s, and I only load 1 CSLG
- license for, for example, VAX Fortran. On the report, do I count this
- as 1 license usage (for the cluster), or 2 (1 per machine in a cluster)?
-
- 2. We have several DECstation 3100s that are "diskless" (local disk only
- used for swapping) that boot off another system. Should I count each
- system, or just the boot node?
-
- Thanks in advance for helping me with this very tedious task!
