  31. This may be of some help.  We are not running Pathworks for the file server of
  32. volume server part of the software.  We are able to downline load an image to
  33. the mac from either our VAX using the Multinet software and bootp, or from our
  34. DECstation 5000/240 using bootp.  I don't believe we have tried the IIsi yet,
  35. but we have this working with about 10 LC II's.  We have had not problems
  36. getting to our other mac servers and using the software like normal.  We have
  37. even been able to use the Mathematica front end to run on a remote kernal.  Be
  38. aware if you are not already, this all take a lot of memory on the mac.  We
  39. have our LC II's configured with about 10Mb of memory and not much is left
  40. after we get the image loaded.  This image is System 7 with the Mathematica
  41. stuff included in the image.  This image is about 5 Mb which leaves about 5Mb
  42. of memory for normal system work.  The system 6.0.7/8 image is a bit smaller.
