  20. I'm having difficulties with using files in DBASEIII+ which have been edited
  21. under DBASEIV. The MEMO fields somehow get messed up. When I use DBASEIII+ for
  22. editing it does not find the proper content of the MEMO field anymore.
  23. Can anybody tell me the reason and what can be done. I only have III+
  24. at home, but use IV in the office and therefore would like to be able to
  25. switch back and forth.

  27. Memo fields are not downward compatbile from dBASE IV to dBASE III+.
  28. Refer to dBASE IV Change Summary page 1-9 on using the COPY TO command
  29. with the DBMEMO3 TYPE option.
