- Hi,
-
- I'm having difficulties with using files in DBASEIII+ which have been edited
- under DBASEIV. The MEMO fields somehow get messed up. When I use DBASEIII+ for
- editing it does not find the proper content of the MEMO field anymore.
- Can anybody tell me the reason and what can be done. I only have III+
- at home, but use IV in the office and therefore would like to be able to
- switch back and forth.
- ******************************************************************************
- Memo fields are not downward compatbile from dBASE IV to dBASE III+.
- Refer to dBASE IV Change Summary page 1-9 on using the COPY TO command
- with the DBMEMO3 TYPE option.
