- 1. Size of collection: We have around 500 articles, 700 books, and 300 AV pieces
- on reserve out of a collection of 200,000+ items.

- 2. Separate collection? Yes. 3 hour loan period, except for certain AVs that go
- for 3 days.

- 3. Short term in stacks? No. Some 3 day AVs.

- 4. Separate budget for reserves: No. Relocate material from stacks? Yes.

- 6. Accept required texts? Yes.

- 7. Restrictions on type of material? No. We have everything from syllabi to
- anatomical models.

- 9. Usage statistics? Yes. We use the Library Information System from George-
- town, interfacing with a Reserve module created with VA File Manager, to produce
- usage statistics.

- 11. Librarians placing things on reserve? Yes, our AD for Collection Development
- does this.

- 12. Faculty can request items for purchase to be placed on reserve.
