  13.      Very recently, the issue of evaluating and hiring student workers
  14. was discussed on this listserv with some good comments.
  15.      My stacks supervisor, Larry Bartlow is in the process of updating
  16. our student shelvers training manual and would like to include a
  17. contract for the students to sign binding them to keep good attendance, to
  18. work through finals week, etc.
  19.      He would like to know if having students sign such contracts lead to
  20. an improvement in attendance or job performance?
  21.      Any suggestions on the wording of such a contract would also be helpful.
  22.      Larry is not a member of this listserv, and I will be out of town most
  23. of next week, so if there are any responses, please email or otherwise
