- Greetings all...
- I've a few questions for all the irc gurus out there. After FTP'ing and
- compiling and installing an irc client and using it successfully for about
- a month, suddenly I can no longer connect to my server that I have been using
- all along. I've tried using the /SERVER command to connect to other nearby
- servers, but I always get the same message: "Unable to connect: Connection
- Refused". I've tried recompiling the entire client again, but that doesn't
- help any. What went wrong? Did I unknowingly break some net protocall or
- did the entire IRC community self-destruct or is there some obscure
- configuration parameter I have overlooked?
- Any hints or suggestions would be appreciated. Please reply via
- e-mail to the following, as I am not a regular reader of this newsgroup.
- "rcooper@bobcat.ent.ohiou.edu"
- Thanks in advance...
