- Thanks for the replies concerning an FAQ on hypertext systems. I've begun
- to compile info. I've already made a few trips to the Library of Congress
- (I'm in DC for the summer) which has yielded some good results in terms of
- a bibliography. If anyone else has a list of books or periodicals on
- the subject of hypertext or hypermedia please send them to me.
- I'd also like to have an extensive list of hypertext applications, so if anyone
- has information on these systems, send it to me:
- Xanadu
- FRESS
- ZOG
- KMS
- GUIDE
- HyperCard
- NoteCards
- Hyperties
- TIES
- HyperTRANS
- IDEX
- MaxThink
- SmarText
- TextPro
- and the plethera of others I'm sure are out there.
-
- I'll put together the FAQ in ASCII to be posted here and archived wherever
- FAQs are archived. We've already got someone willing to create a MaxThink
- hyperdocument out of the ASCII file, and I might be willing to create a
- HyperCard stack.
-
- Also, if anyone has info on on-line hypertext based systems other than
- World Wide Web
- WAIS
- Hytelnet
- please send me info.
-
- Send all messages via e-mail. Thanks.
