  20.  The Doctor Who Information Network was founded in 1980 and continues to serve
  21. fans in Canada, the USA and other countries around the world.  It was one of the
  22. first Doctor Who clubs in North America, and is now the second largest Doctor
  23. Who Club on the continent.

  27. -the newzine 'Enlightment', DWIN's bimonthly journal.  Each issueis twenty or
  28. more pages containing the lastest news from England about the series, the books,
  29. the movies, and the merchandise; excellent artowrk; informormative and
  30. controversial artciles; reviews of the series and books; news clippings from
  31. Britian publications rarely seen elsewhere; special reports; opinion columns;
  32. reviews of fanzines; and news of local events and conventions.

  34. - access to the pen-pal service, the questions and answers service, and the
  35. classified ads column, all free.
  36.  
  37. - a membership card and an opportunity to get information sheets on various
  38. aspects of the series.

  40. - an opportunity to participate by writing letters, articles, stories or
  41. reviews; by sending in art; or by joining DWIN's chapter network - friendly
  42. groups of members meeting regularly to discuss and enjoy the show and to
  43. encourage and promote it locally.
