  1. One problem with all the new tracks that are being developed is that after a
  2. while the high scores in NFS become extremely unbalanced.

  4. To clear all the high scores from NFS, replace the existing config.dat in
  5. nfs\gamedata\config with the config.dat (read the note below) in this zip
  6. file. Keep it handy so that you can clear your scores whenever you desire.

  8. This file contains the patch which gives you the Lost Vegas track and the
  9. cheat codes.

  11. NOTE: You will have to reconfigure your graphic and audio settings (and
  12.       maybe re-calibrate your joystick) when you install this file. Save the
  13.       file to config.bak after you re-configure and before you do any racing.
  14.       Then, when you want to clear your scores, you can replace config.dat
  15.       with the config.bak that is configured for your machine and
  16.       preferences.
