  1. Enclosed in the OVALRUST.ZIP file is a new Need For Speed track (Feb 28/96):

  3. The Need for Speed Superspeedway!!!
  4. ===================================

  6. Just copy the enclosed TR1.TRI file to your \NFS\SIMDATA\MISC directory,
  7. and your Rusty Springs track is converted into a high-speed oval. Two
  8. long straightaways, two banked curves, and that's it. The second turn is a
  9. little tricky but it is possible to do the whole track without shifting
  10. out of top gear (in the Ferrari).

  12. Note: When you install Need For Speed you must select a custom install and
  13. select Miscelaneous files or it will not read the modified track, it will
  14. pick up the original one off the CD-ROM. It seems to be safe to re-install
  15. over a current setup - I did this and it did not overwrite my top scores or
  16. replays (thanks, EA, for making a good install program).
