  1. Automation System Files Setup
  2. =============================
  3. Some applications and components require that you have newer versions of
  4. the Automation (formerly called OLE Automation) libraries installed on your
  5. system. OADIST2.EXE is a self-extracting setup program that will install the
  6. Automation libraries onto your system. Simply double-click to run it. It will
  7. prompt you to be sure that you want to proceed. Answering "yes" will update
  8. the Automation libraries on your computer.

  10. OADIST2.EXE installs the following files:

  20. OADIST2.EXE works on Windows NT 3.51 with Service Pack 5 as well as Windows
  21. NT 4.0 and Windows 95.  In order to support NT 3.51 OADIST2.EXE uses a
  22. different type of setup than OADIST.EXE.  This setup is a little larger to
  23. support the additional platform.

  25. When running OADIST2.EXE you may be prompted to re-boot.  This is sometimes
  26. necessary in order to replace your current Automation system files.  If you
  27. are prompted to re-boot you should re-run OADIST2.EXE after re-booting.  This
  28. will complete the setup and you should get a message indicating that setup
  29. was successful.
