  3. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR MICROSOFT SOFTWARE
  4.  
  5. IMPORTANT--READ CAREFULLY: This Microsoft End-User License Agreement
  6. (EULA) is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a
  7. single entity) and Microsoft Corporation for the Microsoft software
  8. product identified above, which includes computer software and may
  9. include associated media, printed materials, and online or
  10. electronic documentation (SOFTWARE PRODUCT).  By installing,
  11. copying, or otherwise using the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be
  12. bound by the terms of this EULA.  If you do not agree to the terms of
  13. this EULA, do not install or use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  15. SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
  16.  
  17. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international
  18. copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and
  19. treaties.  The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.
  20.  
  21. 1. GRANT OF LICENSE.  This EULA grants you the following rights:
  22.  
  23. * Software.  You may install and use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on up to
  24. five (5) computers at your premises solely to evaluate the SOFTWARE
  25. PRODUCT, test its compatibility with other products and/or provide
  26. feedback to Microsoft until thirty (30) days after commercial release
  27. of such SOFTWARE PRODUCT.  You may only use the Connection Manager or
  28. Service Profile resource files to facilitate access to Windows NT
  29. Server Software and/or other components provided as part of or
  30. designed to run on Windows NT Server product.

  32. 2. DESCRIPTION OF OTHER RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS.
  33.  
  34. * Environment.    You may not use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in a live
  35. operating environment where it may be relied upon to perform in the
  36. same manner as a commercially released product or with data that has
  37. not been sufficiently backed up.
  38.  
  39. * Limitations on Certain Testing Methods.  You may not use the
  40. SOFTWARE PRODUCT for benchmarking or performance testing.
  41.  
  42. * Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly.
  43. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE
  44. PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly
  45. permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
  46.  
  47. * Separation of Components.  The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is licensed as a
  48. single product.  Its component parts may not be separated for use on
  49. more than one computer.
  50.  
  51. * Rental.  You may not rent, lease, or lend the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
  52.  
  53. * Software Transfer.  You may not transfer all of your rights under
  54. this EULA.
  55.  
  56. * Termination. Without prejudice to any other rights, Microsoft may
  57. terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and
  58. conditions of this EULA.  In such event, you must destroy all copies
  59. of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts.

  61. 3. COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE
  62. PRODUCT (including but not limited to any images, photographs,
  63. animations, video, audio, music, text, and applets incorporated into
  64. the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying printed materials, and any
  65. copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT are owned by Microsoft or its
  66. suppliers. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and
  67. international treaty provisions.  Therefore, you must treat the
  68. SOFTWARE PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material.  You may not
  69. copy the printed materials accompanying the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.

  71. 4. U.S.  GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS.  The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and
  72. documentation are provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication,
  73. or disclosure by the Government is subject to restrictions as set
  74. forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and
  75. Computer Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1)
  76. and (2) of the Commercial Computer Software Restricted Rights at 48
  77. CFR 52.227-19, as applicable.  Manufacturer is Microsoft
  78. Corporation/One Microsoft Way/Redmond, WA 98052-6399.

  80. MISCELLANEOUS

  82. If you acquired this product in the United States, this EULA is
  83. governed by the laws of the State of Washington.  If this product was
  84. acquired outside the United States, then local laws may apply. Should
  85. you have any questions concerning this EULA, or if you desire to
  86. contact Microsoft for any reason, please contact the Microsoft
  87. subsidiary serving your country, or write: Microsoft Sales Information

  90. LIMITED WARRANTY

  92. NO WARRANTIES.    Microsoft expressly disclaims any warranty for the
  93. SOFTWARE PRODUCT.  The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any related documentation
  94. is provided as is without warranty of any kind, either express or
  95. implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties or
  96. merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement.
  97. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the SOFTWARE
  98. PRODUCT remains with you.
  99.  
  100. NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES.  In no event shall Microsoft or its
  101. suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without
  102. limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business
  103. interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary
  104. loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use this Microsoft
  105. product, even if Microsoft has been advised of the possibility of such
  106. damages.  Because some states/jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion
  107. or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages,
  108. the above limitation may not apply to you.
