  1. Sweet Little Piano (version 1.5)

  3. Sweet Little Piano allows the computer keyboard to act as a piano keyboard.
  4. Pressing a computer key will generate a MIDI note and send it to the device
  5. selected. Different aspects of the MIDI message generated, may be changed
  6. with different menu commands, keyboard commands and the control bars.
  7.  
  8. All settings are saved when you exit so you will be ready to play immediately
  9. when starting the program the next time.
  10.  
  11. Note: Not all features described, is available in the lite version
  12. of Sweet Little Piano.

  14. OBS! The installation software does not work under Windows NT. Copy all files
  15. to a desired directory and add items to the Program Manager/Start Menu.

  18. To be able to send the MIDI data generated by Sweet Little Piano to
  19. another Windows application, a MIDI driver, such as "Hubi's LoopBack Device"
  20. must be installed via the control panel. The driver offers virtual MIDI
  21. Ports (up to 4), which act as Input and Output. All MIDI data sent to the
  22. output (from a MIDI program) is delivered to all programs at the input side
  23. (eg. another MIDI program).

  31. Windows 3.1:
  32. Start Windows, select "Control Panel" from the "Main" group, select Drivers,
  33. select Add button, select "unlisted driver", OK, enter your directory (eg. C:\TMP).
  34. Now you should see "Hubis Loopback V2.4", and press OK.

  37. Windows 95:
  38. Start->Settings->ControlPanel->Hardware Continue-> [No] ->Continue -> 
  39. [ Audio/Video/Game Controller ] ->Continue->Disc-> [ enter the unzipped
  40. directory (eg. C:\TMP)] ...

  43. Now the configuration dialog comes up and you must select the number of
  44. ports to use. 2 should be a good starting point, but WARNING: Windows(3.1)
  45. cannot handle more than 10 midiports (+Midimapper).

  48. After Restart, the new MIDI In and Outputs will be available then.
  49. If you have no CTL3DV2.DLL in your \windows or \windows\system directory
  50. (nearly impossible) then you must install one manually.
