- Release Notes
- -------------
-
- Since I have received many requests, Version 1.91 of AVLAda9X is being
- released with a development environment with the following features:
- multi-text full screen editor (Borland like)
- syntax templates
- help on the environment and on the Ada Reference Manual (ARM)
-
- This is only a prototype environment. Plans are under way to develop
- a complete environment with advanced programming tools such as
- AI assistants for programming and debugging for Windows, Windows/NT
- and OS/2.
-
- Please, keep in mind that this software is far from being completed
- and that it is being released for working with simple programs.
-
- This work is being developed as an educational tool for helping to
- motivate language teachers and students to learn and experiment Ada
- for the first time and/or a first course on programming or special
- courses on concurrency.
-
- Any resemblance with SmallAda of The George Washington University is
- due to the fact that both environments use the same basic editing
- tools and had the same designer and implementor.
-
- Your support in helping the development of this software is
- appreciated.
