  3. This is the README.TXT file for Aggressive! V1.0

  7. Aggressive! uses DirectX (versions 2, 3, or 5).  This means that Windows 95 users (with
  8. DirectX installed) and Windows NT 4.0 users can play Aggressive!  Any computer that can
  9. run Windows 95 with DirectX should be able to run Aggressive! without any problems.
  10.  
  11. Aggressive! may slow down or play jerkily if 1) you have a very old video card with
  12. a small amount of RAM (less than 1 meg) or 2) you have another application running which
  13. is doing IO (accessing the hard drive or CD-ROM).

  15. Using ALT-TAB to "switch out" from Aggressive! to another application IS NOT SUPPORTED,
  16. and will cause Aggressive! to crash.
  17.  
  18. Some mouse drivers may not work correctly with Aggressive!  The mouse pointer may be
  19. invisible, or leave garbage behind as it moves around the screen.  Getting the latest
  20. mouse driver from your mouse manufacturer will usually cure this.

  22. Aggressive! was compressed using WinZip32 Version 6.1, which supports long file names.
  23. If you try to unZip Aggressive! with an earlier version of Zip, long file names might
  24. mot be supported.  The unzip might appear to go ok, but Aggressive! will crash.  Make
  25. sure you have a current version of the Zip utility.

  27. Aggressive! expects to find all files (EXCEPT aggress.exe, proj.dat, and ships.dat) in
  28. a subdirectory called "dat".  If all the files were unZipped into a single directory,
  29. just make a "dat" sub-directory, and move all but the above three files into it.

  41. game.  If you wish to distribute this program, you may obtain the most
  42. recent version of the program from www.aggressive.to.  It is generally not
  43. necessary to contact T2R Associates for authorization, and you may begin
  44. offering the shareware program immediately.  If you wish to receive
  45. notification of updates and new releases, please send email to

  47. Please provide your company name, method of distribution (Website, CD-ROM, etc),
  48. titles and version numbers of our products you are distributing (if any),
